A Funeral Does Not Have to be a Financial Burden to your Family

Nowadays, many people are choosing cheaper options for funeral and cremation services. It may be that the financial burden of an extravagant funeral is too much, or it may simply be that you or your loved one want a more simple send-off. Remembrance Funerals is one example of cheap funeral options in Penrith; they pride themselves on keeping funeral and cremation services affordable to all, whilst still giving your loved one the send-off they deserve.

Cremation Only

Remembrance Funerals offers their professional fees from just $1,200 AUD. The Essential Care package is the cheapest option offered by the funeral home, and includes:
  • The transfer of your loved one into the care of Remembrance Funerals
  • Copies of your loved one’s death certificate
  • Simple laminate coffin
  • Cremation fees
You may also wish to purchase the Essential Care package if you prefer a simpler send-off, as it does not include a viewing, service, or attendance at the cremation.

If you wish for your loved one to be celebrated with a memorial service, you can upgrade to the Remembrance Funeral package. This starts from $4,220 AUD and will include, on top of what is offered in the Essential Care package:
  • Dignified Chapel service within the funeral home, attended by the celebrant/clergy
  • Floral tribute to your loved one
  • Memorial book, along with a photo of your loved one
  • Polished timber coffin
Finally, the most expensive package offered by Remembrance Funerals is the Remembrance Tribute Package, starting from $6,850 AUD. With this option your loved one will have a memorial service in a Sydney Metropolitan Crematorium, and will rest in a beautiful Rosewood Richmond coffin. You will also avail of all the services offered in the Remembrance Funeral Package.

No matter how much you spend with Remembrance Funerals, your loved one’s ashes will be returned to you in a beautifully polished timber urn.

The COVID-19 Pandemic

Sadly, the COVID-19 pandemic has had a negative impact on funeral planning in Penrith. Families have been forced to grieve in isolation, unable to come together to share memories of their loved one. Remembrance Funerals understands the importance of a memorial service to help the friends/family of the deceased grieve properly, but also recognises that this isn’t always feasible in the current circumstances. Therefore, the funeral home pledges that, if a service isn’t possible at the time of your loved one’s death, they will help you to fully plan and hold one at a later date.

Additionally, the staff at Remembrance Funerals have taken precautions to ensure your loved one’s service/cremation carries no risk of COVID transmission. Hand sanitisers and wipes will be readily available during your visit, and any staff members who are showing symptoms of the illness will not be allowed to work. Therefore, you can rest assured that despite the low costs for their services, Remembrance Funerals provide high-quality care and professionalism.

A funeral and cremation service doesn’t have to break the bank to give your loved one the send-off they deserve. When it comes to Penrith funeral homes, Remembrance Funerals offers a cost-effective “no-frills” option, while still ensuring your loved one is treated with dignity and respect.

Remembrance Funerals are available 24 hours a day and can be contacted through their website.
